http://www.canuckhosting.ca/whmcs/announcements.php Thu, 29 May 2008 09:00:08 EDT http://www.canuckhosting.ca/whmcs/announcements.php?id=2 Thu, 29 May 2008 00:00:00 EDT Good morning!  This is just a quick message to tell you about some improvements we have made here at canuckhosting.ca !  Yesterday we upgraded to the newest version of the cPanel control panel system.  While many of the changes will be transparent to users, there are a few new features we would like to point out:  1.  cPanel is now configured to allow access via a virtual subdomain in addition to the direct port system used in the past.  For example, previously you would access cPanel / webmail using: http://www.mydomain.com:2082  - cPanelhttp://www.mydomain.com:2095  -  webmailWith the upgrade you can now use:http://cpanel.mydomain.com  - cpanelhttp://webmail.mydomain.com  -  webmail 2.  We have now added support for the Roundcube (http://roundcube.net) webmail interface. This provides a nice modern alternative for webmail users.   These changes are in addition to many improvements in speed, backup, security and mail processing.  As with any upgrade, we have conducted a testing regime prior to deployment - however if you notice any problems occurring, please advise us by raising a ticket in our support system. canuckhosting.ca
